Sheila Bollier

Sheila Bollier
Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital

Sheila Bollier has been appointed as chief executive officer of Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Houston at The Medical Center. The hospital is a 61-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital under construction at 3010 Yellowstone Boulevard in Houston. The hospital is expected to open to patients in November 2024. Since joining Encompass Health in 2010 as an area business development director, Bollier has served in various leadership positions. Most recently served as CEO in the Cypress area and previously served as chief executive officer of Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Sugarland.

Glenn Hardesty

Glenn Hardesty, DO
Medical City Denton and Medical City Argyle

Glenn Hardesty, DO, has been named chief medical officer (CMO) at Medical City Denton and Medical City Argyle, a campus of Medical City Denton. In this role, Dr. Hardesty will provide senior clinical direction for physicians and clinicians, lead quality efforts and collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure patient safety, risk management, infection prevention and medical staff services. Before joining Medical City Denton, Dr. Hardesty served as assistant CMO at Medical City Dallas since 2023, working across diverse and specialized service lines, including organ transplant, oncology, congenital craniofacial and NICU specialties. He has served in previous roles as a system medical director for medical staff affairs, acting CMO and attending physician.

JW Newman

JW Newman
St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center

St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center has named JW Newman as the facility’s new chief executive officer. He recently served as chief operating officer at TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville. Newman was responsible for the daily operations of the 741-bed facility. He provided oversight for a variety of service lines, including surgical, radiology/imaging, cardiovascular, endoscopy, laboratory, patient transport, respiratory therapy, rehab and wound care.

Brandy Stegall

Brandy Stegall, MSC, RN, NEA-BC
Medical City Fort Worth

Medical City Fort Worth has named Brandy Stegall, MSC, RN, NEA-BC, as chief nursing officer (CNO). Stegall brings more than 27 years of nursing experience, including two decades of leadership within Medical City Healthcare. Before joining Medical City Fort Worth, she served as CNO at Medical City Denton and was instrumental in enhancing patient care and nursing satisfaction. During her tenure, Medical City Denton received the HCA Healthcare Unit of Distinction award for emergency services, heart and vascular care and intensive care for three consecutive years.

Glenda Villatoro

Glenda Villatoro
Del Sol Medical Center

Del Sol Medical Center has appointed Glenda Villatoro as its new chief operating officer. Villatoro has served at Las Palmas Del Sol Healthcare for more than two decades, most recently as the administrative director of operations for 17 years. She was responsible for several operating departments, including rehab, pharmacy, laboratory, respiratory therapy, bariatrics, outpatient diagnostic imaging, food and nutrition services, security, and more. Villatoro also helped lead the acquisition and operational transition plans for a $17.8-million rehab hospital, as well as managed several facility-based projects, including the construction of a new freestanding emergency department and upgrades to a 20-bed orthopedic/neurological surgical unit, the sterile processing department, cath lab, and surgical services equipment. She also played an essential role in Del Sol Medical Center’s mass casualty disaster response after the tragic shooting in El Paso on Aug. 3, 2019, in addition to emergency management operations during the pandemic.

Melissa Wilson

Melissa Wilson
Freestone Medical Center

The Freestone Medical Center (FMC) Board of Directors has selected Melissa Wilson as FMC’s next chief executive officer. Wilson brings over 24 years of health care experience to FMC, including more than 14 years as a CEO, Administrator, and COO in non-profit rural health care, government, and deployed settings. Most recently, she served as CEO for Concho County Hospital in Eden, Tex., and prior, as chief operating officer for Dimmit Regional Hospital, Carrizo Springs, Tex., which was in partnership with Methodist Healthcare System-San Antonio.
