Allison Cain

Allison Cain
Woodland Heights Medical Center

Allison Cain has been named as the new chief nursing officer of Woodland Heights Medical Center. Previously, Cain served as the chief nursing officer at Belton Regional Medical Center in Belton, Mo. In her new position, Cain will be responsible for planning, coordinating, implementing and administering all nursing management for the 400 plus nursing staff at Woodland Heights. Cain is a high-performing executive with more than 23 years of health care experience. She is also a member of the American Organization of Nurse Executives.

Seth Herrick

Seth Herrick
St. David’s South Austin Medical Center

Seth Herrick has been appointed CFO for St. David’s South Austin Medical Center. Most recently, Herrick served as CFO at Heart Hospital of Austin, where he helped lead several capital projects to completion, including the expansion of the hospital’s intermediate and progressive care units. He also helped launch its advanced heart failure program. Herrick also previously served as vice president of finance at Medical City Arlington, where he led data analytics for the hospital-based Next Generation Growth project supporting the hospital’s five-year strategic plan.

Marcus Jackson

Marcus Jackson, FACHE
Medical City Las Colinas

Marcus Jackson has been named chief operating officer for Medical City Las Colinas. Jackson began his healthcare career as a respiratory therapist and since then, has served in progressive leadership roles including respiratory therapy and cardiopulmonary director. Jackson most recently served as vice president of operations and co-ethics compliance officer at Medical City Arlington since 2017. During his tenure, he held executive oversight and decision-making responsibilities for several major capital improvement projects, including the grand opening of Medical City Women’s Hospital Arlington and Medical City ER Red Oak and completing a seven-story parking garage and a 90,000-square-foot medical office building on campus. Jackson also oversaw numerous departments while serving on the senior leadership team.

Janie Thompson

Janie Thompson
St. David’s Georgetown Hospital

Janie Thompson has been named the new chief operating officer of St. David’s Georgetown Hospital. Since 2019, Thompson has served in various roles within St. David’s HealthCare, most recently serving as vice president of operations at St. David’s South Austin Medical Center. In this role, Thompson oversaw the operations and business development of clinical services including labor and delivery, transplant and cellular therapy, and oncology. She also led facility renovations and expansions, including the hospital’s women’s services unit, 34-bed medical/surgical unit and 690-space parking garage.
