Erin Clevenger

Memorial Medical Center

The Memorial Medical Center Board of Managers has named Erin Clevenger, BS, RN as the permanent chief executive officer. Clevenger has worked at Memorial Medical Center for over 24 years. She started her career as an RN in the Medical/Surgical department, before serving as the Quality Director for five years and then became the chief nursing officer in 2013. She added an additional role as Director of Clinical Services in 2023 and was most recently appointed as the Interim CEO in April of this year.

Brandon Goertz

Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Hurst-Euless-Bedford

Texas Health Resources has named Brandon Goertz, FACHE, president of Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Hurst-Euless-Bedford. Goertz has played an integral role in Texas Health HEB’s success since he joined the hospital in 2019. He worked collaboratively across the facility and within the system to improve operations, quality and experience for consumers. Goertz joined Texas Health after serving in several leadership positions at Christus Trinity Mother Frances Health System in East Texas. Before working in health care, he was a lab instructor and researcher in the fields of biology and neuroscience at the University of Texas at San Antonio. He was also published in the Journal of Neuroscience, Journal of Addiction Biology and Journal of Neuropsychopharmacology.

Paul Hanson

Paul Hanson
Huntsville Memorial Hospital

Huntsville Memorial Hospital announced the appointment of Paul Hanson, MBA as its new chief financial officer (CFO). Hanson brings extensive experience in health care finance to the role and will be responsible for overseeing the hospital’s financial operations. Hanson joins HMH from Great Falls Hospital and Great Falls Clinic in Montana, where he served as chief financial officer for four and a half years. He has a proven track record of success in financial management, with expertise in areas such as business strategy, budgeting, and financial reporting.

Joel North

Joel North
HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest

HCA Healthcare Gulf Coast Division has announced the promotion of Joel North to chief executive officer of HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest. North has served as the chief operating officer for HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood since August 2020. In that role, he oversaw executive strategy and business development as well as clinical operations for Surgical Services and ancillary departments. During his tenure at Kingwood, North managed over $200 million in capital expenditure projects to improve efficiencies, support colleague engagement, drive service line growth and support the patient experience. He helped establish the first Level II Trauma Center in northeast Houston and developed the programmatic infrastructure for the hospital’s Comprehensive Stroke Program. Additionally, he grew the hospital’s robotics program and spearheaded the accreditation of the bariatric program by the American College of Surgeons Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program.
