Andy Kelly
Medical City Frisco
Andy Kelly has been tapped as CFO of Medical City Frisco (Texas), part Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare’s Medical City Healthcare in Dallas. In his new role, Kelly will report all financial departments at the hospital, including patient access, finance, case management, health information management, revenue integrity, IT&S and supply chain. Prior to his new role, Kelly served as CFO of Healthtrust Supply Chain of North Texas. He also previously served as vice president of finance for Medical City Plano and Medical City Frisco.
Jenny Reed
Southwestern Health Resources
Jenny Reed was named senior executive officer of Farmers Branch, Texas-based Southwestern Health Resources, an integrated network, part of Texas Health Resources and UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. In her new role, Reed will oversee direct-to-employer and payer strategy to help Southwestern Health align its vision with both UT Southwestern and Texas Health. Prior to her new role, Reed served as senior vice president of value-based care for Baylor Scott & White Health and the executive administrator for the Baylor Scott & White Quality Alliance, the health system’s integrated network and accountable care organization.
Alejandro (Alex) Romero
Las Palmas Medical Center
Alejandro (Alex) Romero was selected as CEO of Las Palmas Medical Center in El Paso, Texas, part of Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare. Romero succeeded Don Karl, who retired after nine years at the helm and nearly 20 as the hospital’s COO. Romero is joining Las Palmas Medical Center from El Paso-based Del Sol Medical Center, where he served as COO. Del Sol is also part of HCA Healthcare.
Matthew Sartorius
Medical City Fort Worth
Matthew Sartorius has been tapped as COO of Medical City Fort Worth, part of Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare’s Medical City Healthcare in Dallas. In his new role, Sartorius will lead operations for the 378-bed hospital and work with senior leadership, management and medical employee leadership. Prior to his new role, Sartorius served as COO for Abrazo Arrowhead Hospital in Glendale, Ariz., and Abrazo Surprise (Ariz.) Hospital. He also served as vice president of operations for HCA Healthcare’s StoneSprings Hospital Center in Dulles, Va., and as associate administrator for Memorial Hospital Jacksonville (Fla.).
Jeff Schwaneke
Agilon Health
Austin, Texas-based Agilon Health has named Jeff Schwaneke CFO and executive vice president. Schwaneke will succeed Timothy Bensley who is retiring. Bensley will remain on board to help Schwaneke through a transitional period. In his new role, Schwaneke will report to Agilon CEO Steve Sell and will oversee all financial operations at the company. He will step down from the company’s board of directors after becoming CFO. Prior to his new role, Schwaneke served as executive vice president of healthcare enterprises for Centene Corp.
