The general election is finally here and it’s time to make sure that our health care and hospital advocates make their voices heard at the polls.
The Texas Hospital Association is stressing the importance of its member hospitals getting out the vote either during the early voting period between Oct. 21 through Nov. 1, or on Election Day, Nov. 5.
The candidates Texans choose at the polls will make decisions affecting the health of hospitals – and their patients – for years to come as hospitals continue to navigate financial pressures, issues with access to care and much more.
On this page, you can download resources to help hospital staff spread the word to make a plan and vote: digital images for social media or for printing to use around the hospital; a poster for elevators, employee break rooms and patient waiting areas; and a sample email that organization CEOs can send to hospital staff to stress the importance of voting.
Every vote counts. Help THA Get Out the Vote and mobilize your hospital community today!
