Ron Hunt, MBA, FACHE, Chief Financial Officer, Eastland Memorial Hospital District.
Ron began his healthcare career as a staff accountant in 1994. Over the years, he has held various positions in healthcare finance including Controller and Chief Financial Officer.
In his most recent role as Chief Financial Officer, Ron oversees all accounting, financial and revenue cycle functions along with several clinical and support services departments at EMH. Ron’s focus is on being an influential, servant leader who builds collaborative relationships with employees throughout the hospital. Ron believes that successful healthcare organizations must build a culture of trust and mutual respect for all employees in order for organizations to achieve key strategic and operational goals.
Ron received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Angelo State University and a Master of Business Administration in Health Services Management from the University of Dallas. Ron is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and was a presenter at the 2023 Becker’s Annual Healthcare Conference in Chicago.
In addition to his professional activities, Ron has served on local community boards and volunteers his time with religious organizations to help those in need.
