Hospital Week

 More

The Texas Hospital Association is honored to celebrate our member hospitals during National Hospital Week May 8–14, 2022. Our appreciation for hospitals and health care workers does not end because COVID-19 cases waned. After over two years of fighting on the frontlines of COVID-19, it’s important to celebrate and raise awareness about the important work of Texas hospitals.

Senior leaders within THA member hospitals wish our state’s health care workers a happy National Hospital Week.

Celebrating Texas Hospitals

Each day during Hospital Week, we will highlight how our members excel in the following specific areas:

Rural health – If you have a hospital in a rural area, share examples of how you make health care accessible for rural Texans.
Maternal health – Share examples of how your hospital/health system enhances maternal health care.
Community Impact – Share examples of how your hospital/health system makes an impact through community service.
Scientific discovery – Share examples of how your hospital/health system is excelling in medical research and innovation that impacts patients’ lives.
Medical Education – Share examples of how your hospital/health system educates future physicians and health care providers to prepare them to exceed the highest standards of patient care.

You can send articles, photos or other content highlighting your hospital in any of the above areas to Amy Rios, THA marketing director.
