(March 28, 2024) — Providers can learn about the pending transition of contracts for the STAR+PLUS Medicaid program in one of four webinars from the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) beginning this Friday, May 31.

In an email to Medicaid providers today, HHSC noted the contract transition, effective Sept. 1, means STAR+PLUS providers may need to contract with new managed care organizations, and beneficiaries may need to select new health plans. The STAR+PLUS Project Team will host four upcoming webinars about changes to the program; HHSC notes all four will cover the same information, so providers only need to attend one.
