Christopher Hendrix serves as the Director of Physician Practice Operations at Uvalde Memorial Hospital, where he provides strategic oversight and executive leadership for the Uvalde Medical and Surgical Associates Clinics. In this capacity he is responsible for advancing operational and financial performance across a comprehensive network of primary care, internal medicine and specialty service lines including General Surgery, Orthopedics, Cardiology, Urology, Obstetrics/Gynecology, and Allergy Services.
Since joining Uvalde Memorial Hospital in 2018 he has held multiple leadership roles of increasing responsibility, including Director of Patient Access, where he successfully directed revenue cycle and registration operations across the organization. He is recognized for his expertise in operational efficiency, process optimization, and data-driven performance improvement, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient-centered care.
Chris Hendrix earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from Texas Tech University. He holds professional certifications as a Certified Rural Health Clinic Professional (CRHCP) and Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR).
A native of West Texas, Chris Hendrix is dedicated to strengthening access to healthcare in rural communities and fostering sustainable growth within the regions he serves. Outside of his professional responsibilities, he enjoys spending time with his wife and dog, engaging in recreational sports, and visiting family in his hometown.
