Dr. Razaq Badamosi, M.D., VP, Chief Quality Officer, JPS Health
Dr. Badamosi completed his postgraduate training at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. He holds multiple certifications from the American Board of Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, and Neurocritical Care Medicine. His professional interests include healthcare quality, performance improvement, and patient safety. He is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the UNT and TCU Burnett School of Medicine. Dr. Badamosi has been recognized for his outstanding teaching abilities at both UT Southwestern in Dallas and JPS Health Network.

Ellee Cochran, Partner, Husch Blackwell LLP
Ellee represents hospitals, physicians, managed care companies, and other healthcare entities in their regulatory compliance and day-to-day operations. She enjoys learning the details of clients’ unique objectives, at times serving as sole outside counsel for both small and large healthcare providers. Ellee counsels clients through a variety of state and federal regulations, including Medicare and Medicaid enrollment and reimbursement, Medicaid supplemental payment programs, fraud and abuse laws, government and private audits, Medical staff governance and patient issues. Clients appreciate Ellee’s experience as a former litigator and appellate lawyer, as well as representing physicians before state licensing agencies, including the Texas Medical Board, and assisting hospitals through the physician peer review process. She frequently assists clients navigate highly sensitive issues by conducting internal investigations and root cause analysis. Ellee is also skilled in guiding clients with responding to requests under the Texas Public Information Act. Joe Geraci, Partner, Husch Blackwell LLP
When Joe began his legal practice as in-house counsel for a psychiatric hospital system, he dealt firsthand with the challenges of healthcare operations that his clients face daily. While home health agencies, physicians, hospitals, and health systems focus on healing, Joe sorts through the nuts and bolts of their operations to help his clients make sense of the industry’s complex regulations. He is board certified in healthcare law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and brings this in-depth background to his legal and business solutions. Joe’s clients have come to rely on him to help resolve payment and reimbursement disputes and answer their compliance questions. He has created models to integrate physicians into larger healthcare systems and has guided home health agencies, physicians’ organizations, hospitals and health systems through the intricacies of mergers and acquisitions. Joe currently serves on the Council of the American Bar Association Health Law Section, was a 2024 Vice-Chair on the Emerging Issues in Health Law Conference, and is the Secretary of the Texas Bar – Health Law Council.
