HIETexas EDEN - Emergency Department Encounter Notification
April 13, 2021
Noon - 1 p.m. CST
The Texas Health Services Authority (THSA), a partnership with the State of Texas in support of facilitating safe electronic health exchange across Texas, operates HIETexas, a state level health information exchange that standardizes HIE and hospital data. The Emergency Department Encounter Notification System is a platform that sends real-time alerts to patient identified PCPs and authorized organizations when a patient has an emergency department, inpatient or observation encounter. Texas Medicaid Managed Care Organizations and PCPs will receive the encounter notification in support of the patient’s continuum of care. The encounter information will also be leveraged during a disaster to support family reunification with the HIETexas PULSE system. THSA provides this service at no cost to sending organizations.
This program is intended for members of the hospital C-suite.
This webinar is being offered complimentary.
