Unlike previous open enrollment periods, the window to purchase health insurance is short – just six weeks, closing on Dec. 15. Federal funding for navigators to help uninsured individuals enroll in available coverage also is more limited than in years past. This means that for Texas, which still leads the nation with the most uninsured residents, the stakes are high to maximize outreach and enrollment for eligible-but-uninsured Texans to purchase coverage.

You can engage uninsured individuals and encourage them to purchase marketplace health insurance by sharing THA’s Twitter and Facebook posts, video ads and web ads as well as displaying enrollment signage in patient areas of your hospital. These materials are available as a member benefit, so please feel free to customize them with your hospital’s logo. Native video and digital files are available upon request.
