The Texas Hospital Association invites member hospitals to participate in regional town hall meetings to learn more about Texas hospitals’ policy priorities and the political changes that THA anticipates seeing in the health care landscape.
This year, it’s more important than ever for Texas hospitals to remain connected and informed about the upcoming election, the 88th Texas legislative session, the financial stability of hospitals, ongoing workforce challenges and other pertinent topics relevant to health care leaders serving in Texas hospitals.
Maximizing speed and efficiency, THA will host these town hall meetings virtually. We encourage you to attend in your hospital’s respective region so THA can better understand the priorities and unique challenges your hospitals and health systems face.
While town hall meetings will be presented by region, hospital leaders can attend any session, as issues, systems and patients are often not tied to one region. The meetings will be 1.5 hours in length with a closely scripted agenda to ensure the best use of time. Hospital leaders will be provided a Zoom link in advance of the meeting, which they can share with designees within their organization.
