Prior to assuming his role, Nitin worked as a Director of Advisory Services at KPMG and a Senior Manager of Cybersecurity at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan. Nitin has built integrated risk management, third-party risk, and security assurance programs to measure and manage key risk metrics for many large fortune 1000 organizations. He has assisted clients in their readiness toward SSAE SOC2, NIST CSF and HITRUST initiatives.
Throughout his career, Nitin’s focus has been on aligning overall IT strategy to business and corporate objectives by providing benchmarking, multi-year roadmaps, organizational alignment, and qualitative and/or quantitative rationalization as needed.
Nitin is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA). He also has a Master of Information Assurance and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Eastern Michigan University. Nitin is currently a 2024 candidate for an Executive Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Michigan.

Sameer Bhalotra, Co-Founder and CEO, ActZero
A leader in building startups, Sameer Bhalotra is an industry veteran with 15 years experience in cybersecurity. As Co-Founder and CEO of ActZero, Sameer is driving the company’s strategy and its evolution as the industry’s leading Managed Detection and Response Service provider.
His experience spans the U.S. Government, leading research universities, and the security products industry. Most recently, he served as Co-Founder CEO of StackRox, acquired by IBM; and as a cybersecurity executive at Google.
He also served in the U.S. government in various roles including Senior Director for Cybersecurity on the National Security Council staff at the White House and Cybersecurity & Technology Lead for the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence.
Sameer holds a Ph.D. in Applied Physics from Stanford University, and a B.A. in Physics & Chemistry from Harvard University.
