Behavioral Health Conference, Texas' premier behavioral sciences event

posted on

Not a week goes by at THA that there isn’t a webinar, conference or seminar designed to help you manage the rapidly changing health care environment and keep focus on delivering the highest quality patient care. As a THA member, you have access to some of the highest caliber educational programming in the state – all designed to inform, educate and inspire you.

I am particularly excited about this month’s Behavioral Health Conference. Held July 14-15 in Austin at THA headquarters, this conference is the state’s premier event for professionals interested in behavioral health services and related issues. Hospital administrators, social work directors, managed care staff, and nursing directors are just some of the professionals who will benefit from the learning opportunities at this year’s conference.

As is typical of THA’s educational events, the lineup of speakers at the Behavioral Health Conference is second to none, beginning with the keynote address to be delivered by Rep. Garnet Coleman (D-Houston), chair of the County Affairs Committee and senior ranking member of the Public Health Committee, Texas House of Representatives.

I encourage you to take full advantage of your THA membership by attending theBehavioral Health Conference and checking out all of THA’s upcoming educational opportunities. I guarantee that there is something for every member of the hospital leadership team.

I look forward to seeing you at a THA educational event soon.
