Shortages of critical personal protective equipment threaten hospitals’ response to COVID-19 and ability to meet their communities’ ongoing health care needs. The Texas Hospital Association is helping member hospitals with resolve PPE challenges through a closed sharing network. The Member PPE Sharing Network connect members in need to those with a surplus of inventory.

All inventory, and any pricing, logistics, inspection, shipping, costs, etc. are subject to and between the respective facilities. THA will have no role beyond connecting members offering or seeking items. THA, for all subsidiaries and staff, disclaims all liability, duties and warranties (including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose) of all items offered or acquired through this voluntary network.

Q: Do I have to be THA member to participate?
A: Yes, eligibility requirements are membership in the Texas Hospital Association.

A: THA members will need to log in before accessing the Offer PPE or Request PPE forms. If you are not a member but wish to donate, please contact Corey Cotton at 214/537-4098.

A: Complete the Offer PPE form.

Q: What is the cost for the PPE?
A: Some items may be donated; some may be sold at cost: transaction will be between the member participants. There is no cost for members to make an offer or request. THA will not seek or receive any revenue from any transaction between members.

Q: How is the PPE delivered to a hospital?
A: Determined between participating member hospitals.

Q: Is there a limit on how much PPE a hospital can request?
A: Determined based on availability.
