Take Action!

Your local hospital, doctors and nurses provide healing, compassionate care 24/7, 365 days a year. But some cuts – like those proposed in the state budget – don’t heal. Contact your state representative and state senator today and urge them to make decisions that are right for Texas!

What can you do?

Educate yourself. Visit this site for updates and talk to your local hospital to learn what these cuts will mean for your pocketbook, your health care and your community.

Write or call your state legislators. Get talking points or send an email with just a few clicks of your mouse.

Contact local business groups, such as your local Chamber of Commerce, Economic Development Council and other business organizations and enlist their help to protect funding for local hospitals, doctors and nurses.

Based in Austin, THA enhances its members’ abilities to improve accessibility, quality and cost-effectiveness of health care for all Texans.
