The Texas Hospital Association partners with more than a dozen national organizations to educate health care professionals and communities about the unique health-related problems faced by returning veterans.

The four-part educational video series was developed by HealthPartners Institute of Medical Education in Minnesota and is offered nationally through the support of the American Hospital Association, the Veteran’s Health Administration, the American Medical Association, the National Council of Churches and many others.

While the Joining Forces curricula originally was intended for physicians, nurses and other health care professionals, it is open to anyone with an interest in learning about the health care issues of returning military. The series also can be used to meet continuing education requirements!
