Criteria for Successful Completion
Organization/Individual Registration is required for verificiation of continuing education credit. To receive contact hours for this activity, participants should claim credit commensurate with only those sessions attended in their entirety and complete the web based Evaluation tool within one week following the program. A Certificate of Successful Completion will be awarded electronically immediately following completion of the evaluation.
Continuing Education Certificates for proof of attendance will be issued to all registrants attending this session upon completion of the online program evaluation. These certificates should be placed on file at your hospital as evidence of attendance. Some national, state and local licensing boards and professional organizations will grant continuing education credits for attendance when you submit the course outline (save the brochure) and your certificate of attendance. If your discipline is not listed below for preapproved continuing education, it is recommended that you contact your own board or certification organization to find out what is required.
ACHE Category II
The Texas Hospital Association is authorized to award pre-approved Category II (non-ACHE) continuing education credit for this program toward advancement or recertification in the American College of Healthcare Executives. Participants in this program wishing to have the continuing education hours applied toward Category II credit should list their attendance when making application to the American College of Healthcare Executives for advancement or recertification.
Public Accountancy CPE
THA has registered with the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy as a CPE sponsor. This registration does not constitute an endorsement by the Board as to the quality of the program. This course(s) may be submitted to the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy for the specified number of contact hour(s).
Nursing
The Texas Hospital Association is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Texas Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
Approved provider status of the Texas Hospital Association only to recognition of the continuing education activity and does not imply a real or implied endorsement by the Texas Hospital Association (THA), the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Center (ANCC) or the Texas Nurses Association (TNA) of any commercial product, service, or company referred to or displayed in conjunction with this activity, nor any company subsidizing costs related to this activity.
Social Work
This course may be submitted to the Texas State Board of Social Work Examiners for the specified number of credit hours.
