The Texas Hospital Association brings several premier live conferences to members each year. These marquee events offer an affordable way to stay current on hot issues, gain continuing education credits, meet and mingle with colleagues and see the latest products and services offered by sponsors.

Annual Conference and Expo

THA’s Annual Conference and Expo is the ideal venue for getting in-depth insight into the hottest issues affecting Texas health care providers. The two-day conference features thought-provoking commentary, lively panel discussions and plenty of networking time with peers. The conference is held in January-February each year.

2013 Conference: Feb. 13-14 at the Austin Convention Center, and Hyatt Regency, Austin. 

THA Rural and Community Hospital Symposium

The Texas Hospital Association’s 2012 Rural and Community Hospital Symposium is the premier learning and networking event for rural hospitals across Texas. Scheduled for Aug. 22-23 at the Hilton in downtown Fort Worth, this event will couple 1½ days of continuing education from national and regional presenters, with plenty of relaxed networking and social events as well as a full exhibit show. This location was strategically selected with input from THA’s rural hospitals as a convenient and easily accessible destination.

Texas Health Law Conference

Health law is a constantly shifting terrain, filled with nuances and pitfalls. The annual Health Law Conference delivers need-to-know information to help you stay in compliance and out of the court room. The conference is held each fall.

Behavioral Health Conference

Each summer, THA and its Psychiatric and Chemical Dependency Services Hospitals Constituency Council bring the Behavioral Health Conference to members. The two-day event focuses on the issues impacting mental health care and best practices in psychiatric services.

Health Care Social Media Summit

Social media is changing the nature of health care interaction, and health organizations that ignore this virtual environment may be missing opportunities to engage consumers. This year’s Health Care Social Media Summit is bringing an impressive line-up of national experts together with hospital leadership teams for a high-level strategic look at health care social media. Developed by THA and its Strategic Communications Constituency Council, this two-day conference is the only one of its kind in the Southwest designed specifically for health care providers.
