THA Public Opinion Surveys

The Texas Hospital Association periodically commissions public opinion polls to gauge Texas consumers’ viewpoints on critical health care issues. In 2009, THA commissioned Baselice & Associates to conduct a survey of Texans’ opinions related to the uninsured. 

A key finding: 45 percent of respondents rated “making health insurance more affordable and accessible” as either their top or second most important issue.
