Advocacy

Texas hospitals commend state legislators for addressing these issues during the 2009 state legislative session.

Advocacy is what the Texas Hospital Association is all about. When it comes to winning legislative battles, it’s one thing to understand the issues. It’s another to have the relationships that open doors to constructive dialogue. THA’s strong ties at both the state and federal levels, as well as its insight into the health care profession, have helped hospitals time and again. Members can count on THA to represent their collective interests – and be heard. In fact, members rate THA’s advocacy expertise as the single greatest benefit of THA membership.
