Join the many organizations working toward a solution through the Texas Nursing Workforce Shortage Coalition. Your organization can help in the following ways:

All Organizations:

• Submit a Sign-on Form. Simply complete this form and return it to the coalition. Your organization’s name will be listed as a supporter on coalition materials and you will receive updates about coalition activities throughout the legislative session.
• Contact your local Chamber of Commerce, Economic Development Council and other business organizations to gain their support for this critical initiative.
• Tell your legislators to support adding $60 million to nursing education funding to double the number of nursing graduates by 2013.
• Encourage people to pursue a nursing career.

Chambers of Commerce:

• The coalition needs your support! The nursing shortage has a direct impact on your community’s economic development and health care resources. Please consider drafting a resolution or a letter of support. And, don't forget to sign-on as an official supporter!
