THA’s Leadership Conference is the Association’s premier annual event. Held each fall, this event draws more than 450 Texas health care leaders to high-level keynotes by speakers such as Newt Gingrich and Texas Gov. Rick Perry in recent years, as well as a multitude of interactive sessions. With a limited number of sponsorships available, sponsors get exclusive access to key decision makers. Attendees range from CEOs and other top administrators to physician and nurse executives, trustees and clinical/department managers.

THA’s 2007 Leadership Conference is slated for October 15-17 at the Renaissance Austin Hotel.  This exciting event has evolved over the years, taking on a new design and format for 2007. This year’s event will not be a traditional trade show. Instead, the Leadership Conference will highlight sponsors in several different channels, allowing sponsors to build brand equity while networking with attendees throughout the event.

A large-scale Virtual Vendor Gallery display will replace the traditional exhibit hall booths. Educational and networking areas will be strategically placed throughout the display, offering an attractive showcase for sponsor logos and company descriptions. Conference attendees will be drawn into the hall by a variety of events, including a town-hall meeting, multiple receptions, Casino Night and the Awards Luncheon. A separate Architecture/Construction Exhibit, located in the hotel lobby, will showcase the work of Architecture/Planning/Design firms and Construction/Engineering companies. To amplify the impact and give attendees a reference to take with them, printed versions of the displays will be featured in the on-site program. The displays also will be featured in the September/October issue of Texas Hospitals magazine and on the THA Web site for those THA members who are unable to attend.

Sponsors will have the opportunity to rub elbows with health care executives throughout the Leadership Conference and Rural Hospital Forum. You will not be isolated in a booth waiting for someone to approach you. Rather, you will enjoy peer-to-peer interaction with health care executives…talking with your customers instead of talking at them.

By streamlining the sponsorship experience, THA relieves you of the hassles of packing, shipping, assembling and manning a booth, and allows you to concentrate on your customers –the hospitals of Texas. Sponsorship includes two complimentary registrations for the Leadership Conference and the Rural Hospital Forum (not available to vendors in previous years).  Sponsors will have special reserved seating at the Awards Luncheon to ensure mixing and mingling with hospital leaders. Need some privacy to talk with your customers? Meeting rooms may be reserved in one-hour blocks at no charge.

NEW added feature to the
Virtual Vendor Gallery:

Thanks to your feedback from the Vendor Preview Webinar, a Vendor Information Kiosk will be stationed in the hall. This kiosk will serve as a central point of contact and provide a personal touch. Armed with the cell phone numbers of your on-site representatives, a THA staff member will assist the hospital and health care executives who want more information about a specific company or product. Our staff will call your representative and facilitate an introduction or, if the executive prefers, the staff will collect a business card and pass it on to your company’s representative. This Vendor Information Kiosk will help you make valuable connections during the conference…and beyond!

Architecture/Planning/Design firms and Construction/Engineering companies will show off their projects to health care decision makers across Texas through this informative exhibit. Send your artwork electronically and THA will take care of the rest – freeing you from the hassles of shipping and assembling your display. The exhibit will be housed in the lobby of the Renaissance Austin Hotel throughout the entire Leadership Conference and Rural Hospital Forum from Monday through Wednesday.
