Event Sponsorships

For more than seven decades, Texas hospital personnel have turned to the Texas Hospital Association for leading-edge educational programming. Today, THA hosts everything from online seminars and audioconferences to regional workshops, and high-intensity large group sessions. Event sponsorships enable you to target specific audiences, build brand awareness – and make invaluable personal contacts.

Corporate members may incorporate several event sponsorship options into their membership packages. THA events include:

THA Leadership Conference

THA’s Leadership Conference is the association’s premier annual event. This event draws more than 450 Texas health care leaders to high-level keynotes by speakers like Newt Gingrich and Texas Gov. Rick Perry in recent years, as well as a multitude of interactive sessions. With a limited number of sponsorships available, sponsors get exclusive access to key decision makers. Attendees range from CEOs and other top administrators to physician and nurse executives, trustees and clinical/department managers.

Corporate memberships offer several sponsorship options at this event. As a sponsor, you may receive complimentary registrations, be included in signage and promotional materials, and be featured in the program distributed to all registrants. These sponsorships offer outstanding visibility and the opportunity network with Texas health care leaders.

For details on specific sponsorship benefits, contact Susan Van Slyke at 512/465-1524 or svanslyke@tha.org.

Seminars and Educational Events

In addition to the Leadership Conference, THA hosts dozens of educational programs each year to meet the varied needs and interests of our many hospital constituencies. These include:

  • The popular Health Law Conference, targeting health care legal teams and public policy executives;
  • Psychiatric Hospital Conference, for administrative and clinical leaders in psychiatric hospitals;
  • Texas Rural Health Forum, with sessions for administrators, managers and trustees of the state’s smaller and rural facilities;
  • “Hot topic” seminars on issues like patient safety, privacy, reimbursement issues and more; and
  • Audioconferences – these distance learning seminars target key audiences within the hospital and offer an affordable marketing venue with minimal effort.

Corporate members may choose specific event sponsorships for a targeted audience or topic, or spread sponsorships throughout the year to maintain visibility. Sponsors are recognized in online and printed marketing materials, pre-event e-mails and THA publications.

To locate a program targeted to your audience, check out the THA Education Calendar or contact Susan Van Slyke at 512/465-1524 or svanslyke@tha.org.
