Event Sponsorships

For more than seven decades, Texas hospital personnel have turned to THA for leading-edge educational programming. Today, THA hosts everything from online seminars and audioconferences to regional workshops, and high-intensity large group sessions. Event sponsorships enable you to target specific audiences, build brand awareness – and make invaluable personal contacts.

Corporate members at the Bronze level and above may incorporate several event sponsorship options into their membership packages. THA events include:

THA Leadership Conference

THA’s Leadership Conference is the Association’s premier annual event. This event draws more than 450 Texas health care leaders to high-level keynotes by speakers like Newt Gingrich and Texas Gov. Rick Perry in recent years, as well as a multitude of interactive sessions. With a limited number of sponsorships available, sponsors get exclusive access to key decision makers. Attendees range from CEOs and other top administrators to physician and nurse executives, trustees and clinical/department managers.

Corporate memberships at the Bronze level and above offer several options sponsoring at this event. As a sponsor, you’ll receive two complimentary registrations, be included in the display for your industry and be featured in the program distributed to all registrants, as well as be listed in the online directory. Premium sponsorships are offered at some corporate membership levels, enabling members to upgrade to highly visible benefits, like an invitation to the THA Board Dinner.

For details on specific sponsorship benefits, contact Susan Van Slyke at 512/465-1524 or svanslyke@tha.org.

THA Health Care Summit

The Summit is an exclusive gathering focused solely on health care policy issues. THA brings in heavy-hitting speakers from Texas’ legislative and regulatory arenas – a prime attraction for top-level hospital leaders. And during legislative sessions, the Summit includes Capitol visits. Participants include CEOs, CFOs, CNOs, trustees, government relations staff and more.

With only 200+ attendees, THA’s Summit delivers a small, focused audience that generates significant visibility for sponsors. Gold and Platinum corporate members may include Health Care Summit options in their membership package. Because only a limited number of sponsors are accepted each year, the Health Care Summit ensures sponsors one-on-one networking with health care leaders and exceptional marketing exposure. Sponsors are featured on THA’s Web site, in marketing materials, and in pre-Summit promotional e-mails featuring links to sponsor Web sites. In addition, Summit sponsors receive two complimentary registrations and are formally introduced during the event.

Other Seminars and Educational Events

In addition to the Leadership Conference and Health Care Summit, THA hosts more than 25 educational programs each year to meet the varied needs and interests of our many hospital constituencies. These include:

  • The popular Health Law Conference, targeting health care legal teams and public policy executives;
  • Psychiatric Hospital Conference, for administrative and clinical leaders in psychiatric hospitals;
  • Rural/Small Hospital Forum, with sessions for administrators, managers and trustees of the state’s smaller and rural facilities;
  • “Hot topic” seminars on issues like patient safety, privacy, reimbursement issues and more; and
  • Audioconferences – THA hosts more than 30 distance learning seminars annually, targeting key audiences within the hospital. Audioconferences offer an affordable marketing venue with minimal effort.

Corporate members at the Bronze level and above may choose specific event sponsorships for a targeted audience or topic, or spread sponsorships throughout the year to maintain visibility. Sponsors are recognized in online and printed marketing materials, pre-event e-mails and THA publications. In addition, sponsors may submit one-page flyers to be included with conference handouts. Sponsors also receive a list of event registrants.

To locate a program targeted to your audience, check out the THA Education Calendar or contact Susan Van Slyke at 512/465-1524 or svanslyke@tha.org.
