The Texas Hospital Association brings value to Texas hospitals by leading change that enhances access to safe, affordable, quality health care. THA’s vision is to be the most trusted voice representing Texas hospitals and health care systems.

Goals and Objectives

Advocacy. Be an effective advocate for state and national legislative, regulatory and judicial actions in support of accessible, cost-effective, high-quality health care.

Shaping the Future of Health Care. Develop a vision of a health care delivery system for Texas that pursues new strategies and models that ensure individuals receive the right care at the right time.

Education. Provide educational products and programs that assist members with marketplace challenges and compliance with ever-changing regulatory requirements.

Information. Deliver information and data products that enhance the ability of the Association and others to address issues such as reimbursement, quality and outcomes measures, and market share.

Collaboration. Strengthen ties and intensify collaborative efforts with other health care-related organizations to add value for members and enhance THA’s effectiveness.

Operations. Structure the association to reflect the changing priorities of the membership and create a dynamic environment to make THA an organization of incomparable value for its members.
